Demo length, content, and save transfer

You can play the entire first chapter in the demo. Saves transfer. Square Enix has not published a single playtime. Hands-on reports say 3–5 hours, one guide says 3–9, and a community post stopped at 2.5 hours unfinished.
I am not going to pick one of those clocks and call it the length. When I cite a level cap of 15 or a Mastery cap of 5, that is a competitor read of the demo, not a line on the Steam page.
What is and is not in the demo
A database count on 16 October said 171 of 3,018 records show up in the demo: 2 of 26 Visions were flagged in that snapshot, 31 of 596 enemies, 30 of 454 equipment pieces, and 0 of 40 achievements. Treat the snapshot as a catalog, not as a promise.
PC install size for the full game is 15 GB on Steam. Nintendo’s current eShop data lists 8.8 GB for Switch and 12.7 GB for Switch 2. A press headline put the PS5 build near 11.8 GB.
