Party builds

Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.

A battle party is four people. Visions are not married to one character, so a build is a job mix plus an element you are missing. I am not publishing a “best party” for a game that is not out.

In the demo I would start from the story pair you actually receive: Tronn or Leah at Mitra, then Warrior of Light, Cloud, and Terra from the sanctums. Anything past that is a plan, not a clear time.

Three shapes you can try in chapter 1

Physical break: Rain or Lasswell, plus a Vision whose Resonance is physical, and someone who can hit the boss’s listed weakness.

Element cover: bring the scroll that matches the next boss (Flame, Ice, or Lightning) and, for Siren, a lightning tool. Tronn’s Thunder is the chapter’s lightning skill if you picked Tronn.

Safer clear: Fina’s healing and a Sentinel Vision. Expert difficulty lowers your damage and raises enemy stamina, so this shape matters more there.

Questions

Should I level every Vision in the demo?

Mastery rank is capped around 5 in competitor notes, and the level cap is around 15. Raise the three sanctum Visions before you chase a complete set.
